Why does this come up?
A lot of people end up with more than one way to sign in to Behance over the years — a personal email, a school account, a work account provided by an employer. This article helps you figure out what's possible for your situation and which guide to follow.
What kind of login do I have?
- Personal account — You signed up with your own personal email address, and you control the login yourself.
- Work/organization account — Your employer or school set this login up for you, and it's tied to their organization's system. You can usually still sign in and use it day-to-day, but the organization technically owns it.
- School or company single sign-on (SSO) account — You sign in through your school's or company's own login page (not a regular email/password). The organization fully owns and controls this type of login.
Plain English: think of it as "mine," "issued to me by work/school, but I still log in normally," and "I sign in through my school/company's portal." If you're not sure which one you have, contact us with your profile link and we can check.
Switching logins vs. combining two profiles — which do you need?
- Just want to change which email you use to log in to your one existing profile? That's a switch — nothing moves, you just sign in differently going forward.
- Have two separate Behance profiles and want everything on one? That's a merge — content moves from one profile into the other.
Plain English: switching is like changing the key to the same house; merging is like moving everything from a second house into your main house.

A few things we can't do
- We can't move a profile to a completely different person's email or a different organization.
- We can't move a school or company single sign-on account to a personal account under any circumstances — the organization owns that login type.
- Pro and Recruiter Pro subscriptions only work on personal accounts.
