If your project was placed behind the Adult Wall, or restricted for a spam violation, you may be able to appeal the decision — but not every spam action has a self-serve appeal today. Check which situation applies to you below.
If you received an automated notice or appeal email
You'll typically be notified one of two ways:
- A notice directly on the project explaining the moderation action, with a link to appeal, or
- An email notification with appeal instructions.
If you got one of these, use the link/instructions it provides. This covers:
- Adult Wall placements
- Some project "spam" restrictions (your project shows as restricted/private due to an automated spam check)
Before you appeal:
- You can only submit one appeal per project.
- Appeals are reviewed by our team; you'll be notified of the outcome by the same channel you were notified of the original action.
If your project was marked as spam but you did NOT receive a notice or email
Some spam detections don't currently generate an automated appeal notice. If your project was unshared, made private, or flagged as spam and you didn't get a notice or email with appeal instructions, there isn't a self-serve appeal form yet for this case — please contact Support directly with your project link and a brief explanation of why you believe the flag is incorrect. A team member will manually review it.
This process doesn't cover
- Why was my account suspended? — full account suspension (fraud, flagged links)
- Why can't I comment, appreciate, or message right now? — temporary action-level rate limits
How to appeal (automated notice/email path)
Open the notice on your project, or the link in your email, and follow the prompts to submit your appeal message explaining why you believe the decision was made in error.
