How boosting works
- Choose a project and an audience. You'll see an estimated reach based on your audience settings.
- Review: our moderation team checks that the project follows the Community Guidelines. If it's approved, the boost starts. If it's rejected, your credit is returned.
- Your boost runs for 1 week. Your project appears in Search and For You for people in your audience, marked with a Promoted badge.
- Results: when the boost ends, you can see how many impressions and interactions it received.
Boosted projects aren't shown equally to everyone. We show them to the people they're most relevant to, based on their searches and For You preferences, so reach varies from project to project. You'll get email updates when your boost is approved, rejected, or completed.

Boost credits
- You get 1 boost credit each month while you have Behance Pro.
- Your next credit arrives on your monthly subscription date, or 31 days after your last credit, whichever comes first. The date shown in your Boost menu is the one that applies to you.
- Unused credits don't stack. Each month your balance is topped up to 1. You can hold up to 2 only if a used credit is returned to you.
- Additional credits can't be purchased.
- If your boost is rejected, or finishes well below its estimated reach, your credit is usually returned automatically.
Edit or cancel a boost
Your project is locked from the moment you submit a boost until the boost ends, including while it's in review. You can't edit the project, its cover, or the boost settings. Finish your project before you boost it. To make changes, cancel the boost first.
To cancel a boost: go to your profile, hover over the project, click the Settings icon, select Boost, and click End Boost.
Will I get my credit back? If you cancel within 30 minutes of submitting your boost, your credit is returned. After 30 minutes, cancelling ends the boost, but the credit isn't returned. Deleting a boosted project also uses up the credit.
Co-owned projects
- Any co-owner with Behance Pro can boost a co-owned project.
- A project can only have one active boost at a time. If another co-owner is already boosting it, you can boost it after their boost ends or is cancelled.
- Only the co-owner who started a boost can see its results.
If Behance Pro ends
If you cancel Behance Pro, or your trial or subscription ends:
- Any running boosts end immediately
- Unused boost credits are removed
- Custom audiences are deleted
Use your credits before you cancel. See What happens when Behance Pro ends.
