Advanced Project Settings
Control who sees your projects and when:
- Link-only sharing: only people with the link can see your project.
- Password protection: the project appears on your profile, but visitors need a password to open it.
- Project scheduling: publish projects at a future date and time.
Link-only and password-protected projects don't appear in Search or anywhere else on Behance. These settings are available on Behance.net only.
Link-only projects
Create a link-only project
- Follow Guide: Create & Publish A Project to get started
- Click the Behance Visibility dropdown
- Select Link Only
- Click Save to save the project as a draft, or Publish to publish it
Share a link-only project
- Go to your Behance profile
- Hover over the project and click the dropdown in the top-left corner
- Click Copy Link, or copy the project URL from your browser's address bar
Good to know:
- Link-only access doesn't expire. To remove access, change the project's visibility to Password Protected or Private.
- Link-only projects are imported to Adobe Portfolio. To hide one there, toggle it off in Portfolio before publishing your site (Portfolio help).
- Projects don't auto-save, so save your work as you go.
Password-protected projects
Password-protect a project
- Follow Guide: Create & Publish A Project to get started
- Click the Behance Visibility dropdown
- Select Password Protected and enter a password
- Click Save or Publish
Change or remove a password: open the project, click Edit, enter a new password or delete the existing one, then click Publish.
Password requirements. Your password must:
- Be at least 8 characters long
- Include upper- and lowercase Latin letters
- Include at least one number or symbol
- Not include spaces, your name, your email address, or common passwords
Good to know:
- Logged-in visitors stay unlocked for up to 24 hours. Logged-out visitors enter the password every time. Changing the project or the password resets access for everyone.
- Projects that are password protected when first published aren't indexed by search engines until the password is removed.
- Password-protected projects are imported to Adobe Portfolio. To hide one there, toggle it off in Portfolio before publishing your site (Portfolio help).
Scheduled projects
Schedule a project
- Follow Guide: Create & Publish A Project to get started
- Check Publish at a specific date/time
- Choose a future date and time (in your local time zone), up to 90 days ahead
- Click Schedule Publish
Your project stays in the Drafts tab until it publishes. It can take 2–3 minutes after the scheduled time to go live.
Cancel a scheduled project: go to the Drafts tab on your profile, hover over the project, click Edit Project, uncheck Publish at a specific date/time, then click Save or Publish.
If Behance Pro ends, link-only and password-protected projects become private, and scheduled projects stay in Drafts. See What happens when Behance Pro ends.
Advanced Analytics
Open Pro Stats from your profile to see:
- Who interacted with your work: follows, appreciations, comments, and saves to moodboards
- Views by location: where in the world your project views come from
-
Traffic sources: where your views come from, inside and outside Behance:
- Behance Search, Behance For You, Behance Curated Gallery (including Best of Behance), and Behance Other (profiles, moodboards, and everything else on Behance)
- External Social Platform (such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest), External Search Engine (such as Google, Bing), and External Other
- Search terms: Behance searches that led people to click on your projects
- Your followers' interests: the tags and topics your followers follow
Why is some of my data missing? Views by location, traffic sources, and search terms start collecting when you subscribe to Behance Pro. Data from before your subscription isn't available.
0% platform fees
With Behance Pro, Behance doesn't charge its platform fee on:
- Freelance projects: if either the client or the freelancer has Behance Pro, there's no platform fee on the whole transaction
- Asset sales: if the seller has Behance Pro
- Subscriptions: if the creator offering the subscription has Behance Pro
Payment processing fees from Stripe and PayPal still apply. Fees are based on Behance Pro status at the time of payment, so if Behance Pro ends, standard fees apply to future payments, including on open freelance projects.
