With Behance Pro, boost the visibility of your projects to a target audience that you build, by promoting it in key areas like the For You page and Search.
Here’s how it works:
1. How Boosting Works
- Select a Project: Choose the project you'd like to promote from your project's dropdown menu.
- Target an Audience: Define your audience by specifying factors like their location, interests, and creative fields.
- Expected Reach: An estimated reach will be provided, factoring in your audience settings and platform algorithms.
- Moderation Check: Your project will undergo a quick moderation to ensure compliance with the platform's guidelines.
- Boosting Begins: If the moderation team approves your project, it will be featured in the For You section and Search results, tailored to your target audience.
- Impact Analytics: After the boost ends, analytics will show the number of impressions and interactions your boosted project received.
2. Understanding Boost Credits
- During your Behance Pro membership, you receive 1 boost credit every month that you can apply to a project
- Boost credits reset on the first day of each month.
3. Managing Credits
- If your project is rejected during moderation, the boost credit will be returned to your account.
- You’ll receive email updates about your project’s boost status, including approval, rejection, and completion.
4. Editing and Cancelling Boosts
- While a boost is active, the project and boost configurations (i.e. audience, location, etc) cannot be edited.
- To make changes to your project, you’ll need to cancel the active boost.
- Canceling a boost will refund the credit, provided it hasn't started running. Credits are only refundable if the boost has not yet been approved.
5. Promoting Co-Owned Projects
- Any co-owner with PRO status can boost a co-owned project.
- If another co-owner has already initiated an active boost, the project cannot be boosted further until the current boost concludes or is canceled.
- Only the owner who initiated the boost can view its analytics. Co-owners cannot see the boost analytics of other owners.
6. Canceling Pro Trial or Subscription
If you decide to cancel your Pro trial or subscription or choose not to renew it, here’s what will happen to your account and the Boosted Projects feature:
- Any unused boost credits in your account will be removed. These credits will no longer be available for use.
- Any custom audiences you’ve created as part of the Boosted Projects feature will be removed from the system.
- Any ongoing or in-progress boosts will be ended immediately. The project will no longer appear as "promoted" in the For You section or Search results.
- Be sure to use any remaining boost credits and complete your campaigns before canceling to maximize your PRO benefits.
7. Tips for Success
- Ensure your project adheres to Community Guidelines to avoid rejection.
- Maximize reach by tailoring your project to your target audience.
