Image Requirements
File Types:
- JPEG (Recommended)
- GIF (only for project content, not project covers)
- PNG
[.pdf, .psd, .tff, and .doc files aren't compatible.]
Image Width:
Images uploaded 1400px wide or less will be displayed at their native uploaded sizes. Images larger than 1400px wide will display at 1400px but can be expanded when they are clicked within a project. Images under 1400px will display at their uploaded size, however we add 100px of padding to the left and right of these images to make projects look consistent.
File Size:
We recommend uploading high quality images up to 50mb per image. Slower network speeds can cause images greater than 5MB to load slowly or fail during the upload process. If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend making the file size smaller and trying again. If you're experiencing issues uploading a Banner or Cover image, please check that your computer's clock is set to Automatic.
RGB vs. CMYK:
Because computer and mobile screens are RGB, any images in the CMYK color space must be converted to RGB. We do accept CMYK images, but we convert them in order to display them. As a result of this conversion, the colors in your images may appear different.
PDF Uploads
We do not accept PDF uploads. We recommend converting the pages of your PDF to an image file, in order to display on Behance.
We do support embedding from the PDF viewing site Scribd.com. You can create an account on Scribd, upload your PDF, and embed it within a Behance project.
Image Quality Tips
If you've uploaded a file and noticed a difference in quality, we recommend troubleshooting by:
- Reducing the file size to 1mb or below
- Converting the image to the opposite file type (JPEG/PNG)
- Check if your image is in the RGB or CMYK color space
